This is the longest, most complicated book I’ve seen Alexander read. This was his first time and I think he did very well… so well that I nodded off a couple times and dropped the phone I was using to record him!

Alexander and I enjoyed this book. That duck has attitude!

Alexander’s reading more and more complex books with increasing confidence. I can feel him getting close to the tipping point where he just picks up books and starts reading them. That will be so cool to see.

Alexander read this book twice. After the first reading he listened to himself read the book and followed along. It helped him hear the few words he was having difficulties with and it allowed us to pause the recording and discuss the book. He’s doing really well.
